# Hexwarden > **Brew. Cast. Survive.** A top-down survival roguelike where you play as a witch holding her ground against endless waves of slimes. Collect magical fruits, brew powerful potions, and unleash devastating spells — for as long as you can. None of us had significant game development experience when we started — this is a learning project made with a lot of trial, error, and genuine enthusiasm for the genre.
